So I go back in today because I need to get my laptop battery replaced. Now, a laptop battery is probably more simpler than a cell phone battery to replace, just order the battery from the manufacturer, take out the old one by unlocking the clips and put in the new one (pretty self explanatory). Well, I am too stupid to do that and I need justification, so I decide to spend another $59.99. Thing is, I have no idea if there is any haggle room because they look up the replacement part (could be new or used- more profit from a used), kind of look up at you like "$59.99"? and then they give you a price on the spot, if you agree. So Adam confirms with me $59.99 (I think that may be a standard for any battery replacement, unless the battery is expensive)? Seems reasonable. I mean $20 for the battery, if that and $40/hr. for labor (really a 5-30 seconds to replace a laptop one). I say yes. It would be awesome though if this place gave discounts to recurring customers. Maybe like a 10% discount or something? Idk..something that would make it WOW! I get that people could abuse this, if they cannot verify because Adam had to ask me if I had gone there before (how could he not notice me?); however, previous receipts could help with that!Ah well, I pay for the convenience of keeping my computer, maybe have to send it to the manufacture or getting the battery style wrong! Kind of like Disney World, where you pay an expensive price for a potato.
