I brought my cell phone into German Rodriguez to have the ear phone jack repaired. Every time I plugged an ear phone into it I wouldn't get any sound out of it. He suggested that he replace the ear phone jack. After doing that the sound from the ear phone still didn't work. He suggested that I delete whatever apps I don't really use or need. I showed him one that was greyed out and i couldn't delete it. He finally found it in the App Store. He reinstalled it. Then he deleted ...it. The ear phone still didn't work. He suggested that since I had water damage to the screen cover that water damage was probably my main problem with the ear phone jack. The way to take care of that problem was to do a full bath of the mother board. But that would be a 24 hour process. He suggested I go home and try to look for more apps that I don't need and delete them. I went home. I looked at all of my apps. I found another app that was greyed out. I couldn't delete it. I did a full reset of the iPhone. The greyed out app wasn't there any more. I came back the next day to German. I told him that I had reset the iPhone last night. I also told him no longer did I have a greyed out app. I needed him to test the ear phone jack for me because, I didn't have an ear phone. After taking it in the back he said it worked fine. I asked home how much did I owe him for the ear phone jack replacement? He said nothing since that wasn't the problem with it. :-) :-):-) See More
